What we do
All bank and credit card accounts, in every entity, reconciled each month, with every transaction in the books matched to a line on the statement.
We find entries posted twice, payments with no invoice and bank lines with no entry, then resolve each one with your team.
Accounts in US dollars, euros or any other currency are reconciled in their own currency, with exchange differences posted and the AED amounts corporate tax needs, converted at the Central Bank of the UAE rate.
A report for each account each month, showing the statement balance, the book balance and every reconciling item, ready for your auditor or your bank.
A reconciled account shows which purchases were paid, when and how. That is the evidence for the payment check FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026 sets before input VAT is claimed.
Where accounts have not agreed for months, we work back through the statements to find where each difference started and correct it.
How it works
To start
We list your bank, card and currency accounts by entity and check when each one was last reconciled.
At the start
You share complete bank and card statements for every account, for the whole period we are covering.
Varies
We go back to the last point where book and bank agreed and resolve everything since.
Every month
Every account is reconciled, duplicates and unmatched items are resolved, and exchange differences are posted.
Every month
You receive a reconciliation report for each account, and we go through open items at the monthly meeting.
What you get
Know the law
Taxable income starts from adequate, standalone financial statements, so errors in the books carry into the corporate tax return.
Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, Art. 20
Records must include the books recording payments and receipts, with the supporting invoices and correspondence.
Cabinet Decision No. 74 of 2023, Art. 2
For corporate tax, all amounts must be stated in AED, with foreign-currency amounts converted at the Central Bank of the UAE exchange rate.
Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, Art. 43
A full VAT tax invoice must show the VAT in AED, and the exchange rate used where an amount was converted from another currency.
Cabinet Decision No. 52 of 2017, Art. 59
From 1 October 2026, before deducting input VAT, a business must check its suppliers and each supply, including its commercial reason, electronic payment, price and the supplier's licensed activity, and keep the evidence.
FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026, Arts. 3 to 6
Supplies under AED 10,000 before VAT are exempt from those checks, unless the total from that supplier exceeds AED 100,000 in 12 months.
FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026
Failing to keep the required records costs AED 10,000 per violation, or AED 20,000 for a repeat within 24 months.
Cabinet Decision No. 40 of 2017, as amended by Cabinet Decision No. 129 of 2025; Cabinet Decision No. 75 of 2023
It is the monthly check that every transaction in the books matches a line on the bank or card statement, and that the two balances agree once timing differences, such as uncleared cheques, are explained. Anything left over is an error to find: a duplicate, a missing entry or a payment posted to the wrong account.
Every month, for every bank and card account. Monthly reconciliation catches errors while the documents, and the people who remember them, are still at hand. It also means the VAT return and the monthly reports start from cash figures that have been proved.
Yes. We reconcile each account in its own currency and post the exchange differences. For corporate tax, amounts must be stated in AED, converted at the Central Bank of the UAE rate, and a VAT tax invoice must show the VAT in AED with the exchange rate used.
Unreconciled accounts are where VAT errors sit: a sale banked but never invoiced, a purchase claimed twice, a credit note never posted. From 1 October 2026, the checks you must make before claiming input VAT also include how each supply was paid. An incorrect VAT return costs AED 500 unless it is corrected by the filing deadline, and any tax underpaid attracts further penalties.
Corporate tax starts from the profit in your financial statements. A duplicated expense understates taxable income and a missing sale is unreported income, so either way the figure filed is wrong. Reconciled accounts mean the tax computation starts from a number you can prove.
With the last month in which book and bank agreed, or with the opening balances if they never did. We work forward month by month, resolving each difference with your team, until the accounts agree. From then on they are reconciled every month.
