The short version: the site explains UAE bookkeeping and reporting rules and offers some estimates. Advice for your situation comes from an engagement with us, not from a web page.

Information, not advice
Articles, FAQs, service pages and tool results are general information about UAE accounting, tax and labour rules. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice for your particular circumstances, and reading them or using a tool does not create a client relationship with ebs. Tax law and its interpretation change: we date our articles and state when our tool rules were last verified (currently 5 October 2026), but you should confirm the current position before acting. Advice on which you can rely is given only under a signed engagement.
The calculators and tools
The bookkeeping health check, the reporting requirements finder, the gratuity calculator and the bookkeeping cost calculator produce estimates based on the information you enter and simplified versions of the rules. They cannot see everything that affects your position (for example your contracts, your licensing authority’s rules or the Federal Tax Authority’s own decisions). Gratuity depends on the employment contract and on the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation’s rules. Do not rely on a tool result to pay an employee, file a return or make a payment without professional review.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, ebs is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information or tool results on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code and brand assets of this site belong to ebs or its licensors. You may share links and quote short extracts with attribution. Please do not copy or republish substantial parts of the site without our written permission.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources such as the Federal Tax Authority and the Ministry of Finance, and to services like WhatsApp and our booking page. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other websites.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE.
